These are extremely easy, and fun to take to a brunch shower, a treat for co-workers, or to just sit and eat on your couch on a weekend morning.
This is a very cute, easy and fun little recipe. I found the original recipe on http://www.iowagirleats.com/ .
INGREDIENTS
Rolls
1 8oz tube of crescent roll dough
2 tablespoons of butterCinnamon
Brown Sugar
Icing
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
1 Tablespoon of skim milk
3/4 cup of powdered sugar
Preheat oven according to the directions on your crescent rolls. Roll out the crescent rolls and split into 2 pieces. Take the first 4 triangles and pinch the seams together.
*McCormick makes this wonderful Cinnamon Sugar GRINDER. This is perfect for the recipe, but I would still add in some cinnamon. The grinder is also nice with making french toast.
Roll into a log and cut into 1 inch pieces. Place into a mini muffin pan that is sprayed and bake according to the crescent roll package or until nice and golden brown. Repeat all steps on the remaining half of the crescent rolls.
While the rolls are baking, make the icing. If you have a small bowl and a mini whisk, that will be perfect. Otherwise, just a bowl and fork will do the trick. When the rolls are warm just out of the oven, drizzle the icing over the rolls.
Now see, wasnt that easy ?! Now go and enjoy a couple...or 27 :)
